What Is Waterless Skincare?

How I (unintentionally) became a consultant.

While I didn’t join Oliveda completely by accident, I honestly had no intention of becoming a consultant for another network marketing company. And while I still love Beauty Counter products, I was on the hunt for something new. I wanted to find a more natural skincare line that better aligned with my holistic ‘inside and out’ approach.

When I came across Oliveda, I was instantly intrigued by their waterless skincare blends and their impressive collection of beauty and health elixirs. I mean, they even have herbal oil-pulling solutions (!!!)

I wanted to try EVERYTHING.

So there I was, with $245 worth of product in my cart, when I realized they had a consultant program with *heavily* discounted enrollment kits. I thought to myself, well, I’m going to spend the money either way— why not turn it into a business opportunity?

Are they just like other MLM companies?

If you’re hesitant about network marketing, I don’t blame you.

Trust me, I’m as skeptical as they come, and I’d like to think I’m not easily influenced, lol.

(I truly have whatever the opposite of FOMO is)

So I did some digging and found out that Oliveda is owned by Olive Tree People and has been a successful boutique skincare brand in Europe for over 20 years— they’re legit.  

They hadn’t set out to be a network marketing company from the start, but when the founder moved to California 10 years ago, his vision was to expand while still keeping that personal boutique feel. This is why they decided to evolve into network marketing just in the last year.

And guess what?  We’re only five months in.  This means there is sooo much potential to grow and build a successful business with Oliveda, unlike other MLM brands that have been around awhile and are -dare I say- oversaturated.

This is definitely a “get 'em while they’re hot” moment, lol.

What’s so special about Oliveda products?

The biggest difference between Oliveda and most skincare formulations is that it’s completely waterless. While there’s nothing wrong with using water in different products, and sometimes it’s necessary for specific ingredients to blend easily, you’re essentially paying for a larger amount of diluted active ingredients.  

Oliveda products are 95% more potent because they are literally FULL of actives.

While most products are 70-90% water, these emulsions are made with 70% olive hydroxytyrosol— a powerful polyphenol sourced from olive leaves (it’s what helps these trees live up to 4,000 years in max vitality🫒).

Olive hydroxytyrosol benefits the skin by:

-preventing and repairing damage from oxidative stress

-lowering overall inflammation

-combating bacteria on the skin

-neutralizing free-radicals

My current routine (anti-aging).

In the morning…

I splash my face with water or use the F11 Activating Facial Toner then follow up with the F59 Corrective Face Serum and F42 Corrective Face Cream.  Before I brush my teeth, I swish a tablespoon of the I88 Mouth Microbiome Care Pulling Oil.  (I actually look forward to oil pulling now, lol)

In the evening…

I wash my face with the F38 Purifying Cleansing Gel before applying the F65 Corrective Midnight Elixir.  I then finish off with the F59 Corrective Face Serum and F42 Corrective Face Cream.

I’m loving the results.  My skin is hands down more radiant and I swear my pores are smaller. 👏👏👏
