BECOMING @THEHOLISTICMOTHER
A Root Cause Practitioner and Educator who’s been right where you are.
I’ve been in the midst of uncertainty.
Surrounded by symptoms.
At the mercy of other people's advice and opinions.
Standing at countless treatment crossroads.
And unlike most practitioners, my journey into root cause solutions began not because of my own health struggles– but my children’s.
When they started showing signs of chronic illness, I felt absolutely helpless.
My son developed PANS when he was just 3 years old due to a cat scratch, a tick bite, and living in a moldy environment. It was the perfect storm.
Our newborn daughter had even more challenges.
After months of digestive issues and other symptoms, we discovered she had Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, mold illness, and multiple Lyme co-infections.
How in the world could this happen?
I thought I was doing everything right.
Natural birth
Breastfeeding
No pharmaceuticals
But it didn’t seem to matter.
Here they were. Struggling.
And here I was, out of control.
I outsourced their healing in the beginning because I didn’t know where to start.
Not surprisingly, I left each appointment feeling more overwhelmed and less empowered.
But something told me it didn’t have to be this way.
It shouldn’t have to be so confusing.
So, I followed that gut feeling into the world of root cause healing. This is where I discovered the power of asking the most important question:
“Why?”
“why was this happening?”
“why were they so susceptible in the first place?”
This allowed me to finally stop chasing their symptoms and start focusing more on the foundations:
Ancestral Nourishment
Vitamins + Minerals
Clean Air + Water
Safe Sun Exposure
Emotional Balance
Connection With Nature
Restorative Sleep
These foundations aren’t quick fixes. We didn’t see healing overnight.
But prioritizing a healthy environment and laying a solid foundation gave them the resilience to recover in time.
I spent way too much time grieving my children’s health problems, outsourcing their care, and overlooking the root cause– but you don’t have to.
